Emergency Building Maintenance Fund

 

To the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish Community, BVM Alumni and Interested Friends of the Parish!

 

Blessed Virgin Mary Church and Parish were founded in 1913.  Since that time there have been many improvements and additions.  Due to age and an extremely severe winter, our buildings are in need of major repairs and improvements.

Where Your Building Fund Donations Will Go

The following work either is done or will be completed in the next month: replace slates on the roof and gutters on MacDade side of church (approximately $9,000-$11,000).  Toilet and wall in church bathroom ($600.00) as well as new drain in sacristy (estimate not in, yet), church windows ($7,400) facing parking lot need to be resealed.  None of these improvements are covered by our insurance.  At present, we have about $20,000 in the Building fund from your donations this  year..
